Experience:

Philip Vickers joined Cantey Hanger in 2007 after serving as a law clerk to Judge Michael Schneider of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

As a member of Cantey Hanger’s general litigation practice group, Mr. Vickers has successfully represented businesses and governmental entities in a range of civil matters in both state and federal courts. Mr. Vickers’ experience includes commercial litigation, business torts, construction litigation, unfair competition litigation, trademark and copyright infringement, and products liability litigation.

Mr. Vickers received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2005 where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics. While in law school, Vickers served as a judicial intern for the Texas Supreme Court and as a law clerk for the United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Property Rights. A native of the Texas Hill Country, Vickers received his undergraduate degree in Political Economy in 2002 from Hillsdale College in Michigan.
